Now is the perfect time to start making plans, and more importantly training, for the 2nd Annual Rally for Rochester 5K and Fun Run, which will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2017. This event will kick off at 9 a.m. and last until 11 a.m. It will begin at the Rochester Municipal Park’s Kiwanis Pavilion. All proceeds from this fun run will help to develop a safe and accessible playground for children in the Rochester-area with special needs. So why not take advantage of this opportunity to get some wonderful exercise all while supporting a great cause?
How Can You Participate?
Check-in for the event will begin at 8:15 a.m., with the run beginning at 9 a.m. The cost is $22 per participant. Tickets can actually be purchased online, now, through August 20, the day of the event.
Of course, you don’t have to run or walk to help participate in the efforts to fund the playground. You can help the Rochester Area Jaycees, who are sponsoring the event, by making a donation directly to the playground.
