It’s never too early to start making plans for Auburn Hills’ beloved event, Paddlepalooza, which will take place June 3, 2017. This is the city’s 9th annual canoe and kyak race, co-sponsored by the cities of Auburn Hills and Rochester Hills. In addition to the race, this will also be a great chance for families and friends to explore the great scenery and wildlife these parks have to offer. You won’t want to miss the fun!
Who Is Invited to Take Part in the Race?
The race will take place on Clinton River, along an 8-mile stretch of water, making for excitement and fun for participants and viewers alike. The race will begin at Riverside Park, right in downtown Auburn Hills, and will end at the Rivercrest Banquet Center at Avon and Livernoise.
This is a race intended for seasoned paddlers, but there will also be an untimed event for individuals who simply wish to paddle the river for fun. In addition to the race, this will also be a great chance for families and friends to explore the great scenery and wildlife these parks have to offer. Pre-registration is now open. The admission fee is $20, which includes a free vent t-shirt and a hotdog lunch.
