Did you know that Auburn Hills, Michigan is fortunate enough to be one of the cities invited to participate in the Detroit Institute of Arts’ special summer art program? As part of the event, Auburn Hills is hosting a variety of art reproductions that will be on display now through October in the downtown area. The intention behind the program is to create a “walkable outdoor gallery,” which encourages visitors to conduct self-guided tours. Now is a great time to see the wonderful art the city is currently hosting!

To help make the gallery accessible and educational, each piece of art has been given a brief description to read through as you tour the area. The event is fittingly called the Inside/Out program, and it has generously been sponsored through a partnership with the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. The foundation aims to foster the arts throughout the area.
